In His Steps Shoe Bank

For over 30 years, Weslaco First UMC has maintained a shoe bank to provide vouchers for new shoes to students in Weslaco ISD through the parental involvement personnel. In the 2016-2017 school year, 552 pairs of shoes were purchased through our shoe bank.

Donations can be designated for the shoe bank at any time. Each December we make an especial push for donations to bolster the fund before the spring semester starts. This past year we added another $1250 through our December drive.
